About Us

Children need art.

Founded in 2009Art for Life 4 Kids has been a long-standing part of the Burlington, Oakville, Hamilton, and Milton communities, providing exceptional art instruction that nurtures creativity, confidence, and self-expression in young artists. Our studio is dedicated to helping students grow not only in artistic skill but also in imagination, problem-solving, and self-esteem—qualities that last a lifetime.

Each class feels like a private lesson within a small group setting, where every student’s project is unique and personally guided. Our instructors provide individualized feedback, mentorship, and support for school art projects, as well as professional portfolio preparation for college and university entrance.

Alongside our year-round programs, we offer inspiring PA Day, March Break, and Summer Campsas well as a special family event and birthday parties, where students explore diverse art styles and media in a supportive and creative environment. Through these programs, Art for Life 4 Kids continues to inspire young artists to discover their voice, build confidence, and celebrate the joy of artistic discovery.

Soo Yun

Founder & Lead Instructor, Art for Life 4 Kids

Soo Yun’s artistic journey bridges the worlds of Fine Art and professional animation, with experience on major productions for Disney and top studios in Korea. Her animation background has given her a deep understanding of movement, storytelling, and visual design — lessons she now passes on to her students every day.

At Art for Life 4 Kids, Soo fosters a warm, creative space where imagination and confidence grow together. Her teaching philosophy encourages students to discover their own artistic voice, experiment freely, and take pride in their creative progress.

Through her guidance, students learn not just to make art, but to think like artists — to see, imagine, and express themselves with confidence and joy.

"I enjoy seeing students build confidence and passion for art with the freedom to make their ideas a reality. Creating art helps me connect with myself and express emotions that words cannot. It’s a time for me to slow down, observe the world around me, and capture it through my artwork."

Silvia

Instructor

"I love art because it integrates observation, technique, and emotion––Teaching art gives me the opportunity to share the conceptual and technical processes behind visual creation, helping students translate ideas into spectacular expression.”

Logan
